Camera, Drone, and Pre-Wedding Shoot Guidelines: Balancing Content with Guest Privacy
Want to fly a drone or shoot a YouTube vlog? Learn about our mandatory drone flight restrictions, commercial filming permits, privacy zones, and personal smartphone photo rules.
The Visual Beauty of an Orchard Resort
With towering mango boughs, rustic timber cottages, cascading mist fountains, and sweeping adventure courses, Mango Mist Resorts is extraordinarily photogenic. We love seeing our guests capture joyful family memories, vacation selfies, and Instagram reels throughout their visit.
However, the widespread use of high-powered telephoto lenses, vlogging rigs, and remote-controlled aerial drones makes strict photographic guidelines necessary to safeguard personal privacy and aerial safety.
Personal Photography vs Commercial Shoots
We differentiate clearly between personal vacation photos and organized commercial shoots:
- ·Personal Photography (Free): Taking photos and videos using smartphones and handheld personal cameras for private social media or family albums is completely welcome and encouraged across all public recreational lawns.
- ·Pre-Wedding, Maternity & Fashion Shoots (Permit Required): Sessions involving costume changes, tripods, light reflectors, external flash units, and dedicated crews require prior written approval and a dedicated commercial shoot tariff.
- ·Commercial Brand & Ad Filming: Must be pre-cleared with resort corporate communications to avoid interfering with regular day visitors.
Strict Prohibition of Unauthorized Aerial Drones
Unregulated drone flights pose grave risks in an adventure resort: rotating high-speed carbon-fiber blades can sever zipline safety cables, cause catastrophic head injuries if dropped, and intrude into private cottage hot tub courtyards. Operating personal drones without civil aviation permits and management clearance is strictly prohibited across our airspace.
Privacy Zones: Respecting Fellow Guests
Under no circumstances may cameras be pointed directly into swimming pool changing facilities, private cottage windows, or secluded hot tub courtyards. Always ask polite verbal consent before photographing fellow guests or children outside your party.
Planning note: tariffs, package inclusions, activity eligibility, timings and property rules can change. Confirm the current details for your dates with reservations before travelling.
